MPA adapter – a drop of blood is all it takes

Take a sample from the ear or limb, draw blood into the 20 μl micro-capillary, slide tube into adapter and insert into the analyzer. The analysis starts automatically, in about one minute you will see the full blood count on the display. No preparation, no pre-dilution and no vacuum tubes required. It’s that simple.

 

Especially suited for small animals

A 20 µl sample is all that’s needed to obtain a full CBC within one minute. Exigo’s MPA micro-pipette adapter – a unique feature among veterinary hematology analyzers today – is ideal for pets, especially kittens, puppies and other small animals, or for synovial fluid samples. The small sample volume needed also enables the use of lancets instead of syringes, drastically decreasing the stress level of the animal and decreasing the risk of temporary stress-induced changes in the blood composition.
