A strategy for successful transplantation of human hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) is to transplant high numbers of pluripotent stem cells. However, one limitation is that these cells may lose their pluripotency during culture. Results from a German study shows conditions for improved viability and pluripotency of these cells during culture.
In this study, Medonic M32 hematology system was used.
