Dr. S. Vairamuthu, MVSc, PhD Madras Veterinary College, Chennai, India

 

Dr. S. Vairamuthu is the Professor and Head of the Central Clinical Laboratory at
Madras Veterinary College since 1997. This laboratory is a key diagnostic center,
handling 100+ veterinary samples on a daily basis, including hematology, cytology,
serum biochemistry and fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) samples. During his
more than 25 years of prime focus on veterinary diagnostic pathology and parasitology,
he has been involved in teaching, research, and veterinary pathology activities.
Dr. Vairamuthu has undergone various international training programs at University
of Bari, University of Maryland, and University of Pretoria, and has published more
than 100 publications in various International and national journals.
