-Tell us about your background

I was born and raised in New York City, right in lower Manhattan. Growing up in an Portuguese and Italian community, we had great food and sense of community.
I attended Misericordia University where I majored in medial Technology. This lead to my first job in a lab for New York Hospital.
After working in the lab for a few years, I moved into field service and applications, then into sales and marketing. I have spent time with both small and large companies such as Beckman Coulter, Bayer Healthcare and Siemens Healthineers.

-What knowledge did you bring to Boule?

My focus throughout my career in diagnostics was mainly in lab automation and Hematology.  Joining Boule, I brought 25 years of diagnostics market experience to my role at Boule.  Strong Hematology knowledge, and commercial experience will benefit the company long term.

- Why did you choose to work at Boule?

Choosing Boule was a very easy choice for me. During the interview process I had the opportunity to meet with colleagues both in the US and in Sweden, including members of our Board of Directors. The conversations were free flowing, positive and respectful – I felt valued even during the interviews. This was a sign of the company overall, and it is 100% true having been with Boule for well over a year now.

- What do we don´t know about you? (Interest?)

Outside of work, my primary focus is family – married for 20+ years with 2 daughters. Our oldest just started college in South Carolina, and out youngest is a sophomore in High School. My wife works as a Physical Therapist for our school system. She focuses on children with special needs to help them develop the skills to make the most of the educational opportunity. When not working or with family, I enjoy working out and studying Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.
